Secret Garden Pottery

I worked for many years in the Interior Plant Industry taking care of plants in homes and businesses.   Truly unique planters were hard to find so when I started making pottery some of the things I like to make are truly unique planters.  I hope you enjoy looking at them.

About the Images

All the above pottery is done in Cone 5 B-mix clay.   If a piece has sold we can remake another but we would need 3 - 6 months in order to fullfill an order.  Remember these are all handmade and decorated.  The second reason for the length of time is that the kiln holds anywhere from 35 to 50 pieces.  It takes awhile to get enough pots created for the first firing.  Then the glazing begins.   Some pots take 30 or more hours to glaze.
